Roulette rules

For starters, we should differentiate between the 3 types of roulette offered in our online casino. The different types of roulette are as follows: American, European and French roulette.

American roulette is different to the other types of roulette in that it has the double zero plus the other numbers commonly found on any roulette table.

European roulette differs from other types in that it has the zero in addition to the 36 standard numbers.

French roulette is a type of roulette that has 36 numbers plus zero, but it differs from other types of roulette in that when the ball lands on the zero you only lose half of the value gambled in all bets paid 1 to 1, i.e. red-black, odd-even and high-low.

How to play

To play roulette, you need to first choose the chips by the value that you would like to bet and click on the mat on the areas where the bets are to be made. Once you have selected the areas you want to bet on, click on the "SPIN" button to place the bet and the game will begin.

The mat allows all players to place their bets on numbers, colours or dividends (dozens, pairs, etc.). In addition, you can place more than one type of bet per round; you can place numerous bets and you will win if the ball falls on any of your selected numbers. Once the round has been completed, new bets can be made.

Bet limits

The maximum and minimum bets are explained on our roulette tables.

Types of bets

The bets are essentially divided into two categories: inside and outside bets. Each one of them establishes a series of numbers distributed differently.

Inside bets:

  • Straight: a chip can be placed on any number, including the zero and the double zero.
  • Split: a chip can be placed on any two adjacent numbers, with the chip being placed on the line that divides them.
  • Street: this bet covers three consecutive numbers. The chip is placed on the line at the outer edge of the roulette table, alongside the row of the corresponding three numbers.
  • Corner bet: this bet covers four numbers. The chip is placed on the cross that marks the intersection of four numbers.
  • Basket: this bet covers the following numbers: 0, 00, 1, 2 and 3.
  • Six line: this includes six different numbers in two rows of three numbers.

Outside bets:

  • Columns: there are three boxes showing the text “2 to 1” on the shortest side of the roulette table. If a bet is placed on any of these boxes, the twelve numbers above them (except for 0 and 00) are included.
  • Dozens: twelve numbers are marked when a bet is placed on any of the three boxes marked as 1st 12, 2nd 12 or 3rd 12.
  • Red/black, odd/even, 1-18 or 19-36: a bet placed on a box on the longest side of the table, covering half of the numbers of the roulette table (except for 0 and 00). Each box encompasses 18 numbers.
